Fish Blenny Fish Spesias New to Discover

Scientists say that the classification of the three species of blenny fish that contrary to previous studies of the fish DNA, from larvae to adulthood, finally managed to uncover the seven species that have not been classified.

"DNA analysis has offered science a resource to answer old questions," said Carole Baldwin, a zoologist at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History.

"This discovery is a perfect example of how DNA mapping describes species that we missed before, such as Starksia blenny fish," added Baldwin.

"We do not know where we stand in a period of time to understand the diversity of species. Our work suggests that previous studies not yet complete, "lid Baldwin.
