PRAZZER- Amazing walled city in the world ...!!!

DubrovnikDubrovnik is a walled city on the Adriatic Sea coast in the extreme south of Croatia. Dubbed the "Pearl of the Adriatic", is one of the most prominent tourist destinations of the Mediterranean. Walled city was built on maritime trade. In the Middle Ages it became the only country in the Adriatic city to rival Venice and achieve a remarkable level of development during the 15th and 16th centuries. The world famous walls surrounding the old city. Built mainly during the 12-17 century, they have been preserved until now.

ObidosÓbidos city is situated on a hill and surrounded by strong walls. In the 8th century Moorish castle set on a hill. It was taken from the Moors by the first King of Portugal, Afonso Henriques, in 1148. Óbidos village and fortress walls were renovated in the 14th century. The walls are made of local limestone and marble. The village was also enlarged around this time, with a settlement made outside the city walls. Appearance of well-preserved medieval streets, squares, walls and fortresses of the companies have changed the beautiful village into a popular tourist attraction in Portugal.

YorkYork is an ancient city in northern England. The city was founded by the Romans, was taken over by the Angles, was captured by the Vikings and finally established in the United Kingdom in the year 954. Roman occupation followed by the Visigothic rule, the rule of Islam and eventually Reconquista Toledo in 1085 AD. It is the capital of the Spanish empire until the mid 1500's when the court moved to Madrid. The city is surrounded by the Tajo river on three sides and two medieval walls on all four sides.
