Technology giant IBM predicts five years from now we can operate various gadgets like smartphones and laptops with the mind. Simply think about what we do, then the smartphone and the laptop will follow orders.
Scientists are racing to refine the technology was a mind reader, including IBM who want to make it easier to use. For example, IBM wants to simply think about the future of mobile phone users to call someone rather than have to press a series of numbers to make calls.
It sounds dreamily, but as quoted by The Los Angeles Times, Wednesday (12/21/2011), IBM convinced that this kind of technology will be used in everyday life.
"You just have to think about calling someone and it will happen. Or you can control the cursor on a computer screen just by thinking about which direction the cursor is moved," the report said.
Scientists at IBM and other technology companies are currently actively designing a headset with advanced sensors that can recognize the resulting electrical aktvitas brain. This tool can recognize facial expressions, the level of concentration and mind.
"In five years we'll start to see a variety of applications that utilize this technology novice, ranging from gaming to entertainment industry," IBM believes.
IBM is mentioned, the medical world can reap the benefits of technology to test the readers mind brain patterns. This method is helpful in treating patients with stroke, brain defects and autism.
