5 The carved statue of the World's Most Famous

 Venus de Milo


The statue was built around 100 and 130 BC. This statue is believed to depict Aphrodite (Venus to the Roman version), the Greek goddess of love and beauty. Before the statue was placed in the Louvre museum in Paris, the first statue was accidentally discovered in a farmer's field.











 Pieta
Created by the artist Michelangelo (1475-1564), depicting the Virgin Mary's lap is a statue of his son, Jesus. Before the statue was made, Michelangelo was an artist who is not known, until at the age of 20 years old, he was told to make a statue of the Pieta. In 2 years, using slabs of marble, beautiful statues finally making it even finished.
 David 
 

"David" is the work of Renaissance sculpture created between 1501 and 1504, by the artist Michelangelo. David statue depicting a man has a 5.17 meter high. The statue was moved to the Academy Gallery in Florence in 1873, and then replace it with a replica of the statue to the location of the statue was found.
 Lady Justice 
 

This statue is one of the most famous sculptures in the world. The statue was not caused by a single author artists, because the statues are often found in the courthouse. This sculpture has many names, among them the "Scales of Justice", "Blind Justice", but better known as "Lady Justice". Earlier, in ancient Greek and Roman times, the statue was created as a picture of Our Justice and Law.
The Thinker 

Manufacturer sculpture "The Thinker" was named Auguste Rodin. Previously the original name of this sculpture is "The Poet", which depicts a naked man sitting pondering his poetry.
