Laser printer sales growth in Indonesia is projected raced in 2012. Predicted, consumers in the country will begin to be more interested to buy a laser printer than an inkjet printer.
"In 2012, the growth of laser printer market in Indonesia is projected 17.09%. While inkjet printers predicted only 4.89%," said Jolene Yeo, Marketing Manager of Fuji Xerox in the Asean Energy Building, Jakarta, Wednesday (08/02/2012) .
Laser printer market is forecast to grow 3.5 times faster than inkjet printer market. Fairly rapid growth was mainly driven by increasing demand in the SME (Small and Medium Enterprises).
"The trend is much faster laser printer. In Vietnam for example, the laser printer market is 90%. So I believe Indonesia will also be in that condition," said Teddy Susanto, Country Sales Manager of Fuji Xerox Indonesia.
It is now in Indonesia, the laser printer market is still smaller than the inkjet. But seeing the trend of rapid growth, Teddy five years the market projecting inkjet and laser would be equivalent to a percentage.
"The price of laser printers will also be more affordable so that consumers demand," said Teddy.
Fuji Xerox also focus on developing markets in Indonesia, especially in the SME sector. Indonesia is seen as an important market for Japanese joint venture and the United States is, as a good economic growth.
